Math Tutoring

Tutoring Philosophy

I believe anyone is capable of learning anything they are interested in with the right resources, motivation, and persistence.

My role as a tutor is to guide students through helping them learn the methods and concepts necessary to improve their understanding of their course material. I also focus on teaching students notetaking and study skills in order to become resourceful and independent when working on their own.

Qualifications

• Over 4 Years of tutoring experience through work in universities and private tutoring.
• Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in the Mathematical Foundations of Data Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Asheville

I am open to in-person and remote tutoring for students in the Triad area and am open to remote tutoring for students outside the Triad area.
